I chose the Process Type Foundry to write my blog about. The Process Type Foundry is a type foundry in Golden Valley, Minnesota that started in 2002 with only four fonts to offer. Eric Olson started the company with no business plan, just a passion for designing typefaces. The company’s motto is to make typefaces that are useful and that people want to use. Their customers have used their typefaces for things like corporate identities, magazines, exhibition graphics, and personal websites. Their foundry offers a wide variety of fonts. Some of the fonts they offer are: Anchor, Bryant 2, Capucine, Elena, Kettler, and many more. Currently, they offer a total of 22 fonts. While this foundry offers all these publicly available typefaces, they also make custom typefaces for clients upon request. They have a help page, a blog, and a licensing page to help and for the convenience of their clients and customers. For more information about Process Type Foundry, you can visit their website.
